DONATE-Post 73

Each Post within the American Legion is a remarkable tax-exempt, non-profit organization that relies solely on the generosity of donations and fundraisers. We deeply understand the crucial importance of supporting our beloved Veterans and their families. Our certified Service Officers diligently identify their evolving needs and strive to connect them with vital community services such as food, housing, mental health care, rehabilitation, and other essential resources tailored to their unique circumstances. Founded in 1919 by Veterans, for Veterans, the Legion remains steadfast in our unwavering dedication to the brave men and women who selflessly served our nation, defending our cherished freedoms and the American way of life.

Post 73 is in desperate need of your generous donation! Our building consists of two rooms: a small conference room with a capacity of approximately 60, and a small kitchen. With a membership role of over 400 dedicated Veterans, our facilities would burst at the seams should all attend at once.

But here’s the catch: the conference room is just one open space, with a shared desk and a shared computer for our hardworking staff. This lack of privacy makes it challenging for our Certified Service Officers to have confidential consultations with veterans who have sensitive matters to discuss.

Moreover, given the age of our population, it is crucial for us to have essential medical equipment such as a defibrillator and other pieces of life-saving gear.

That’s why we urge you to consider donating to Post 73. Your contribution will help us transform our humble space into a safe haven where veterans can receive the private assistance they deserve. Let’s come together and make a difference in the lives of our brave servicemen and women.

Remember, every donation counts! Thank you for your support!
